prestashop ended on v1.6, next releases is a garbage of various frameworks.

we tried syncing products from one product to their ecomm on prestashop , on my version it works but on different version the api works or just , then you had to do an 3 year old hack that is simple to add to production but they never fix it, and variations took forever to load when it got alot

I don’t understand how is it fair to compare PrestaShop (an e-commerce framework) with WordPress (a blog engine). A minimal e-commerce framework must deal with products stock, payments, customers, orders. A minimal blog engine is a collection of text files. Of course the complexity is not the same! A comparison with WooCommerce or Magento would have been more appropriate. Same for the docs: you can’t compare the docs of Angular (a Google-backed generic framework) and PrestaShop (a specific framework backed by a small French company). See Magento’s (inexistant) documentation for an alternative.

You’re right in all. I manage a big ecommerce that uses prestashop with a lot of modules (for marketplace sync too). Trust me, you still have to see how prestashop can be so sh*t
